Faresin Formwork yesterday and today
A story of family, internationalisation, innovation and sustainability: the evolution of Faresin Formwork is made of concrete values and commitments that have accompanied the company from its foundation to the present day.
Origins
Intuition has always been part of the Faresin family’s DNA, especially since 1973 when the brothers founded “Officine Meccaniche Snc di Guido e Sante Faresin”, an engineering company highly specialised in welding.
In 1987, Guido Faresin had the intuition to diversify his business by seizing opportunities in the fast-growing construction sector. Thus Faresin Formwork SpA was born, a company specialising in formwork and scaffolding for industrialised construction.
From Italy to the world, the “pocket multinational”
In the early 1990s, the company began exporting its products worldwide, creating a significant network of distributors and serving the most important construction companies.
A milestone in the internationalisation process was opening the first sales subsidiaries in Russia and Romania in the late 1990s, followed by other subsidiaries on almost every continent, with offices in Australia, Nigeria, the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Mozambique. These locations are complemented by an extensive network of dealers covering the market in more than 68 countries around the world, supplying the construction market at 360 degrees.
Today, Faresin Formwork is a partner to its customers for residential, industrial, and infrastructure construction sites, becoming a full-fledged supplier to the oil and gas sector in recent years.
Made in Italy excellence
Manufacturing in Italy means guaranteeing product quality for all partners and customers worldwide.
Faresin Formwork has invested in its new headquarters, which opened in 2013, and manufactures using highly efficient 4.0 technology machinery and plants to ensure high product performance.
In addition to being ISO9001 certified, in 2022, it obtained BREEAM IN USE certification for “THE FORMWORK GREEN FACTORY” and is one of the first manufacturing companies in Italy to obtain this worldwide award, which certifies the environmental sustainability with GOOD score of the headquarters.
Innovation, investing in customer solutions
Innovation has always been in Faresin Formwork DNA, which since its inception, has invested in research and development of new products capable of responding to different market needs.
Today, the Group has a dedicated department with a team of engineers and prototype makers constantly listening to customers, studying new product lines, making prototypes, testing their performance and launching them on the market.
As evidence of this continuous commitment and innovative vision of the company, in February 2022, Faresin Formwork obtained the important title of innovative SME, registered in the special section of innovative companies and start-ups of the Chamber of Commerce, recognised by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Italian Government, for the percentage of investments dedicated to Research and Development each year.
